Failure In Life

Failure is a common thing in our daily life. There are times when we fail to do satisfactory work. In short, failures happen naturally and almost everyone has such experience.

However, there are different attitudes toward failure. Some people lose confidence in failure. Some people don’t take failure seriously and they just let it be, while some others learn much from failure, and therefore see the light of hope through failure.

In my opinion, what really counts is not failure itself, but what we think of failure and do after failure. As long as we don’t give up and believe in ourselves, and in the meantime learn something from failure, we’ll certainly make our marks in this world in the end.

My Ideal Job

When we are asked what we want to be in the future, we have different answers. My ideal job is to be an excellent teacher. If I am a teacher, Life will be more interesting and meaningful.

But I know it is not easy for me to be a good teacher, let alone an excellent one. Being a teacher needs knowledge, patience, skills, etc. I must study hard to answer most of my students’ questions. I must learn to be patient to tolerate my students’ slowness in acquiring new knowledge, I must have good skills to make myself understood clearly and quickly by my students.

So you see, different jobs require different talents. I will live up to be the name of a teacher.

What Is Money?

Money is something you’ve been familiar with throughout your life. You regularly use money to measure the value of things you own. You also have some of it in your pockets & in bank accounts. Money serves a number of functions as following:

Firstly, as a generally accepted medium of exchange, money rules out the need for barter, the direct exchange of one item for another.Secondly, money provides a unit of account that serves as a standard to measure value, e.g., the concept of GNP will be useless without a standard of value such as the dollar.

Thirdly, money can also serve as store of value that can be quickly converted to goods and services.

Namely, money is completely liquid, and it can immediately be converted to goods and services without any inconvenience or cost.

The Value of Money

Every man knows the value of money. If he has a lot of money, he can make himself very comfortable by having a fine house to live in, beautiful clothes to put on and delicious food to enjoy.

With money he can do what he likes. Money is so important and so useful that people are keen to possess it. But money can be a source of evil. For the sake of money, some people do not care about the means of getting it. They would steal, gamble, cheat & even kill someone to get money. Those evildoers profit at the expense of their victims.

Therefore, money is only a curse, if people do not know how to handle it. It’s true that money can bring people happiness’. With money they can buy the basic necessity. With money, they can go to the theatre or other places of entertainment. Happy are those who make money through their work & live within their income.

In short, money is important & useful, but in itself it has no value if it does not give people real happiness.

Shopping Online

Nowadays, Internet is revolutionizing our globe and greatly facilitating our life. Recently, shopping on the Net is gradually becoming popular in modern cities. However, people take different attitudes towards the new way of shopping.

Some people hold that shopping on the net has many advantages: It not only keeps customers updated about the best selling products but provides customers with a wider range of choices. Most important of all, it is very convenient and time-saving.Others argue that customers can never be assured of the quality of the commodities unless they see them with their own eyes.

Therefore, they don’t show any interest in shopping online.

Anyhow, it’s believed that shopping on the net will be an irresistible trend of shopping in the 21st century.
